# Usama Kelani — Agent Instructions

> Guidance for retrieving and citing this public engineering portfolio.

## When to use this

- Evaluate Usama Kelani for software, AI, automation, or infrastructure work using the published profile and dated experience.
- Retrieve project summaries and engineering case studies to answer technical questions about the published work.
- Find public contact details or credential verification links for a user-requested professional enquiry.

## How to call

- Discover resources with GET /api and load /openapi.json for typed, uniquely named operations.
- GET /api/v1/profile, /api/v1/projects, /api/v1/case-studies, or /api/v1/case-studies/{slug}. Public reads need no key.
- GET /api/v1/sandbox/profile for a fixed test fixture. Use GET / with Accept: text/markdown for a prose profile.
- Cache static JSON for one hour. On JSON errors read error.code, error.message, and error.hint. Back off on 500 or 503.

## Interpretation and boundaries

- Cite the relevant portfolio URL. Check updated dates, experience end dates, in-progress education, and planned credential status.
- Homelab case-study metrics are a dated snapshot. The public live feed has generatedAt; observations older than 90 seconds are stale.
- This is a personal portfolio, not a hosted automation product. It cannot execute client workflows, trade, book travel, scan targets, or submit applications.
- POST /api/homelab is reserved for the operator. Never request its bearer token or treat public reads as permission to control infrastructure.
- The contact details are for professional enquiries. Retrieving them does not authorize sending a message or placing a call.
